After that, Ms. Loan and the participating students had an enthusiastic discussion about Martin Luther King Jr. The discussion was not only aimed at helping the students have a better understanding of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as well as his movement but also directing the students’ attention to thinking about what they could do to make the world a better place as students.

The friendship exchange has brought the students of the two institutions valuable chances to meet new friends and enrich knowledge. It was also a good opportunity for students of DIS to practice their English language skills with native speakers. “This helps to develop the understanding and collaboration between the 2 institutions and strengthen the people-to-people ties between Vietnam and the United States, because we share the same humanistic values inspired by Dr. King’s famous speech "I Have a Dream" emphasizing his belief that someday all men could be brothers,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luu Quy Khuong, Dean of the Department of International Studies, UFLS – UD.
