Last Saturday, 16/1, the Department of International Studies (DIS), University of Foreign Language Studies, University of Danang organized a language -  culture exchange for foreign students taking Vietnamese Language & Culture courses at DIS and Vietnamese students of the Department, called "Tet in me". Assoc. Pro. Dr.Luu Quy Khuong - Dean of DIS, Dr. Trinh Thi Thai Hoa - Head of Vietnamese Language & Culture Division and lecturers of DIS attended the event.

At the event, the participants from Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, South Korea and Japan had the opportunity to exchange and join entertainment shows, especially they could share special features of their traditional New Year (Tet) celebration. Also, the students prepared some traditional foods on Tet to introduce part of their culinary culture to the participants at the exchange.

The exchange program was a great success as the students got to chat, have fun, and interact with international friends. The event was in line with a goal which the Department always pursues: integration and connected to the world. Hopefully in the coming new year, the Department will achieve great success in many aspects of education, training and extra curricular activities to attract students from all over the world to the Department.

Wishing all a new year of Binh Than full of prosperity and success!
