Friendship exchange between university of foreign language studies and the Martin Luther King scholar program.
On the morning of January 11th, 2016 lecturers and students from Department of International Studies, University of Foreign Language Studies – The University of Da Nang (DIS, UFLS – UD) participated in a friendship exchange with those from Ithaca College, (New York, The USA). The exchange was jointly held by DIS, the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organizations and the Martin Luther King Scholar Program (USA).

Language-Culture exchange "Tet in me"
Last Saturday, 16/1, the Department of International Studies (DIS), University of Foreign Language Studies, University of Danang organized a language - culture exchange for foreign students taking Vietnamese Language & Culture courses at DIS and Vietnamese students of the Department, called "Tet in me". Assoc. Pro. Dr.Luu Quy Khuong - Dean of DIS, Dr. Trinh Thi Thai Hoa - Head of Vietnamese Language & Culture Division and lecturers of DIS attended the event.

Da Nang - On the very first day of November, 2015, the Department of International Studies, University of Foreign Language Studies - The University of Da Nang has gladly held a series of events to warmly welcome the freshers of the academic year of 2015-2016. A field trip to Danang museum of Cham sculpture
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of construction of Cham Sculpture Museum in Da Nang, lecturers of Department of International Studies, University of Foreign Language Studies, The University of Da Nang (DIS) organized a field trip for students of the Advanced English course, with cooperation from officials and experts of the Museum.

Cultural Exchange with Hasanuddin University, Indonesia
On August 28, 2015, there was a cultural exchange program between students from Department of International Studies, UFLS-UD, and a delegation of 16 postgraduate students majoring in Political Studies from Hasanuddin University, Indonesia, led by Dr. Nasir Badu.

The International Youth Camp
“The International Youth Camp” was held at Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Sakon Nakhon Campus (RMUTI) in Sakon Nakhon Province, Thailand from July19th to July 25th, 2015. The representatives of University of Foreign Language Studies, The University of Danang joining the camp were two lecturers and four students from Department of International Studies and four students from Department of Japanese – Korean – Thai. Also there were more than 100 representatives from GMS countries including Laos PDR, Cambodia, Myanmar and the host – Thailand.
